Mr. Nattapong Punthakeirtpaisarn, Honorary Consul of Mongolia in Phuket and Phang Nga, along with Mr. Batzorig Vanchinkhuu, Vice President of the Mongolia Tourism Organization, and Mr. Ganzorig Tsogtoo, Board Member, have signed a cooperation agreement to promote and exchange cultural relations between Thailand and Mongolia by establishing the Thai Cultural Council in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia (TCCM).
The TCCM is recognized as the first cultural council between the two nations, established under the National Culture Act B.E. 2553 (2010). It has been officially approved by the Department of Cultural Promotion, Ministry of Culture. The TCCM is a private-sector cultural organization under the law. Its founding members include artists, singers, actors, professional photographers from both Thailand and Mongolia who are passionate about traditional cultures, lifestyles, and histories.
