Thailand’s Prime Minister, Mr.Srettha Thavisin, convened a meeting aimed to deliberate and exchange perspectives on all facets of the Phuket tourism sector.

Thailand’s Prime Minister, Mr.Srettha Thavisin, convened a meeting attended by the Acting Commissioner General of the Royal Thai Police, Pol. Gen.Kittirat Phanphet, Commissioner of the Tourist Police Bureau, Commissioner of Provincial Police Region 8, Governor of Phuket, and leaders from the provincial government and private sector in Phuket. Also present were Phuket Honorary Consuls and Deputy Consuls from 12 nations. The meeting aimed to deliberate and exchange perspectives on all facets of the Phuket tourism sector.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister listened to issues raised by the Honorary Consuls and directed relevant officials to take immediate actions. This is aimed at fostering understanding among tourists from each country and making them feel confident in our tourism sector. The directives include expediting the resolution of issues and enhancing Phuket’s image through collaborative efforts.
