Mr. Pichit Mitrarong, President and CEO, along with Mr. Sangchai Theerakulvanich, Director, and Ms. Ubolrat Kapang, Senior Executive Vice President, as well as the International Affairs and Strategy management teams, extended a warm welcome to Mr. Nattapong Panthakiatpaisan, Honorary Consul of Mongolia for Phuket and Phang Nga<\/strong> , and Consular Counselor.<\/p>

The discussion, led by Mr. Phichit, addressed opportunities to strengthen relations between Thailand and Mongolia<\/strong> , particularly through business matching with quality SME D Bank customers, covering both consumer goods and service sectors.<\/p>

Mr. Natthaphong highlighted the opportunities for cooperation between Thai entrepreneurs and Mongolian businesses,<\/strong> which will help expand the economic dimensions of both countries to achieve stable growth.<\/p>

Meanwhile, Mr. Sangchai, former president of the Federation of Thai SMEs and currently a director of the bank, has proposed a “Quick Win” approach under the name “Thailand-Mongolia Business Matching Camp,”<\/strong> which aims to create a better understanding of both sides’ market needs before the official business matching event in 2026. This proposal has received full support from Mr. Natthaphong and his team of advisors.<\/p>

Finally, Mr. Phichit emphasized that this discussion represents a window of opportunity for SME D Bank customers<\/strong> to understand Mongolia’s potential in its ambition to enter the global economic arena, with Thai entrepreneurs serving as key strategic partners. A joint working group will be established between the Consulate and SME D Bank to exchange information and jointly develop concrete projects.<\/p>
