{"id":2776,"date":"2025-08-25T14:33:38","date_gmt":"2025-08-25T07:33:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nattapongp.me\/archives\/2776"},"modified":"2026-02-05T12:00:49","modified_gmt":"2026-02-05T05:00:49","slug":"the-honorary-consul-of-mongolia-in-phuket-and-phang-nga-held-discussions-with-the-thai-ministry-of-transport-to-strengthen-cooperation-in-transportation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nattapongp.me\/en\/archives\/2776","title":{"rendered":"The Honorary Consul of Mongolia in Phuket and Phang Nga held discussions with the Thai Ministry of Transport to strengthen cooperation in transportation."},"content":{"rendered":"\t\t<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-post\" data-elementor-id=\"2776\" class=\"elementor elementor-2776 elementor-2700\" data-elementor-post-type=\"post\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3023d72 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"3023d72\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3c02168 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3c02168\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-start=\"247\" data-end=\"303\"><strong data-start=\"247\" data-end=\"273\">August 19, 2025<\/strong><br data-start=\"273\" data-end=\"276\"> At the Ministry of Transport, Thailand.<\/p><p data-start=\"305\" data-end=\"555\">Mr. Sorapong Paitoonpong, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Transport, along with senior executives, welcomed <strong data-start=\"387\" data-end=\"478\">Mr. Nattapong Panthakiatpaisan, Honorary Consul of Mongolia in Phuket and Phang Nga,<\/strong> to discuss avenues for cooperation in transportation between Thailand and Mongolia.<\/p><p data-start=\"557\" data-end=\"811\">On this occasion, Mr. Nattapong conveyed a message from <strong data-start=\"595\" data-end=\"648\">the Minister of Roads and Transportation of Mongolia<\/strong> following discussions during his visit to Mongolia regarding important issues, including <strong data-start=\"718\" data-end=\"740\">the airport expansion project<\/strong> and the possibility of increasing the number of <strong data-start=\"773\" data-end=\"809\">direct flights between Thailand and Mongolia.<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"813\" data-end=\"1073\">The Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Transport, along with Ms. Kritika Buranadit, Senior Transportation Specialist from the Office of Transport and Traffic Policy and Planning (OTP), and Mr. Sarun Benjaniratisorn, Deputy Director-General of the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT), expressed their support for all initiatives aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries.<\/p><p data-start=\"1075\" data-end=\"1395\">Mr. Sorapong also proposed the creation of <strong data-start=\"1108\" data-end=\"1135\">a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC)<\/strong> between the Thai and Mongolian governments. This would allow relevant agencies to work together within the same framework, share experiences in infrastructure and Thailand&#8217;s transportation development master plans, and further strengthen relations in logistics and transportation.<\/p><p data-start=\"1397\" data-end=\"1588\">In addition, both sides discussed closely the proposal to establish <strong data-start=\"1468\" data-end=\"1497\">direct flights between Thailand and Mongolia,<\/strong> agreeing that it has high potential to create significant economic and tourism opportunities in the future.<\/p><p
